September 19: Fall Wildflower Hike
Discover some common wildflowers growing at Cove Lake on this two mile walk! Spend around an hour with Ranger Rooker. The cost is $2.00 per person.

September 25 at 10 am: Dollywood Harvest Festival
This event is a slightly longer drive, but certainly worth it to see Dollywood in the fall. The festival will present pumpkin lumnilights, back porch theater, and performances from gospel vocalists and choirs.

September 26 at 7 pm: The Fumblebuckers
Enjoy some live and authentic bluegrass music at the Crafter’s Brew Market and Social. This homegrown pair comes from Macon County, TN with their recently released 11-track album.

October 1 – October 3: Windrock Park Dixie Run
The annual event is coming to Windrock Park! Enjoy this trail riding event with hundreds of other four-wheel drive enthusiasts.

October 9 – October 11: Windrock Park Bleepin Jeep Fan Ride
Come out for this insane off-road Jeep experience. More details to follow.

October 10: Brushy Mountain’s 2nd Annual Pistons and the Prison
Tour an old state penitentiary and check out this incredible car show with awards every hour. Spectators are free!

October 14 – October 16: Windrock Park Fall Jamboree
Enjoy guided ATV rides, an ATV rodeo, rock crawl, drag race and many other exciting events! It includes a haunted trail ride and a massive bonfire.

October 24 at 7 pm: Mikki Norwood Band
A second band comes to the Crafter’s Brew Market and Social. This group specializes in Southern Rock, Soul, and Country. The performance will be a full set, electrified. Other dates may be available at Crafter’s Brew to see this performance live.

October 26 – October 31: Great Smoky Mountain Trail Ride
A big event full of guided ATV rides on some of the best trails in the state. Meals will be provided Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. A big charity raffle will follow dinner on Saturday night!

November 1: Bigfoot Blast 5K and 10K Trail Run
Two tough courses benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of North Anderson county. Bigfoot is rumored to be making an appearance!

November 7 at 6:00 pm – Townsend Grains and Grits Festival
Enjoy live entertainment while tasting some of the spirits and sweet treats from some of the region’s distillers and local foodies. The festival is 21 and over, rain or shine and admission starts at $35.
